ASAP: THE DAYS OF EXPERIENCE AND RAPTURE

Hello everyone...i have taken my first step in blogging that too from one of the beautiful places i have ever seen. My heart is filled with a great deal of happiness since i am in ASAP (Additional Skill Acquisition Programme) camp at Kuttikanam.The beauty of nature, the lush green meadows, the drizzling rain and the cool mist welcomed me to this place with all the warmth..Marian College, the colonial architectural beauty amused me and then started the days of rapture..The first morning got down with butterflies in my belly as i was new to that ambiance. In a few minutes i befriended everyone out there which i am happy about forever..

                                                    It's been ten days and i have never laughed so much in my lifetime as i have done here.We are twenty four in number and we have forgotten the fact that we all belong to different corners of Kerala...I found it really interesting to note that though we were distinctly diversified, we all merged into an intact group like a bundle of twigs..The main motive of our camp is to enhance our speaking skills in English and we have taken it in the right spirit and we are building it together with whole enthusiasm..The fun filled group activities caters to our team working skills and co-ordination abilities..We are fortunate enough to be subjected under the guidance of our dear teachers Pauline ma'am, Reji sir and Allan sir who have inculcated confidence and optimism in us...

                                                     A life without friends is unimaginable for every human being and so is it to me..I believe that finding good friends are like finding treasures and i am quite happy that i have found twenty three such treasures. The pranks and friendly bullying have transformed me into a much better person and the knowledge each of my friend posses is awe inspiring. We eagerly wait for the 'personal time' in the evening so that we could go for a walk..Exploring places gifted with nature's mind boggling beauty and the 'selfie' spree for which we dash each other will always be an evergreen memory for me as well as my friends.
                                                    A shy, introvert, diffident person; this was how i was before attending the camp. But now i am bold enough to undertake any tasks; i step forward without hesitation and i am confident enough to carry out any activities.Now when i look back i could see ten beautiful joyous days and there are ten more left which i wanna learn and enjoy to the fullest.The zeal and zest that filled our lives will never be effaced.Rather than calling this a summer training camp i would love to call it the days of experience and rapture and there are no butterflies in my belly now..I am a butterfly now with lovely hues carrying dreams of great flight...
